Moja znajomość z Ulrichem Jahrem trwa od 1964 roku i do dnia dzisiejszego mamy stały kontakt korespondencyjny.
Uli opowiedział mi kiedyś historię swej rodziny, którą opisałem na mojej stronie.
Niedawno dowiedziałem się, że w książce Królewska gra. Szachy w historii i kulturze autor tekstu pt. Ulrich Jahr. Dzieje rodziny z szachami w tle Włodzimierz Jastrzębski nazwał mnie nawet biografem Ulricha Jahra, co mnie niezmiernie usatysfakcjonowało.
W trakcie naszej korespondencji często wspominaliśmy wspólne turnieje w Bydgoszczy oraz szachistów, których już nie ma wśród nas.
W pewnym momencie Uli wspomniał, że 13 maja 1969 roku wygrał ze mną w turnieju błyskawicznym. Posiada też notację tej partii.
Zamieszczam ją jako ciekawostkę. Uli wykorzystał perfekcyjnie w tym pojedynku wszystkie moje błędy.
