Mistrzostwa Świata FIDE: Konferencja prasowa – 23.11.2024
„Zrobimy, co w naszej mocy i zobaczymy, co się wydarzy”. Fantastyczne szachowe przeżycia dzisiejszego popołudnia w Singapurze rozpoczęły się pierwszą oficjalną konferencją prasową z mistrzem świata Ding Lirenem i pretendentem Gukeshem Dommaraju, prowadzoną przez jednego z oficjalnych komentatorów wydarzenia i mistrz ceremonii, GM Maurice Ashley.
W dyskusji wzięli także udział Arkady Dvorkovich, Prezydent FIDE i GM Kevin Goh Wei Ming, Dyrektor Generalny Federacji Szachowej Singapuru.

Dziś po południu odbyła się ceremonią otwarcia meczu o Mistrzostwo Świata FIDE 2024 pomiędzy Ding Lirenem i Gukeshem Dommaraju.
Wspaniały Teatr Capitol, perełka architektury i stylu życia w sercu miejskiej oraz kulturalnej dzielnicy Singapuru, był wypełniony po brzegi, zgromadziwszy ponad 400 gości.
W bieżącym odcinku „Two Knights Talk” Arne Kähler i Johannes Fischer opowiadają o walce o mistrzostwo świata pomiędzy obrońcą tytułu Ding Lirenem a pretendentem Gukeshem D, która rozpoczyna się w poniedziałek 25 listopada w Singapurze.
18-letni Gukesh jest uważany za głównego faworyta i ma duże szanse zostać najmłodszym mistrzem świata w historii.Ale dwaj dyskutanci zadają sobie pytanie, czy rzeczywiście wszystko jest takie jasne, rozmawiają o atrakcyjności i uzależniającym potencjale walk o mistrzostwo świata oraz odważają się przewidzieć wynik nadchodzących zawodów.
