W przeszłości nasza młodzież zdobywała wiele medali na mistrzostwach świata i Europy. Obecnie jest to już rzadkością. Rankingi FIDE ilustrują też ich aktualne możliwości sportowe, które niestety odbiegają od stanu wyszkolenia oraz osiągnięć młodzieży wielu krajów.
Ale jak można wykorzystać w pełni nasze talenty, które są szkolone w stylu przedstawionym w poprzednim odcinku?
Kwestie szkolenia młodzieży w polskich szachach wyczynowych omawiałem wielokrotnie na tym blogu, Panoramie Szachowej, pismach Andrzeja Filipowicza, Szachy/Chess oraz stronie w Objęciach Caissy.
Dzieliłem się swoją wiedzą i trenerskimi doświadczeniami. Byłem mocno zaskoczony, że moje zaangażowanie i propozycje szkoleniowe zostały zlekceważone przez czołowych trenerów, niektórych prezesów oraz działaczy Polskiego Związku Szachowego.
Zaliczono mnie nawet do największych „mącicieli” polskich szachów, obrażano mnie na oficjalnej stronie Polskiego Związku Szachowego, na facebooku, szukano „haków” itd.
Te moje „przygody” zostaną przedstawione oczywiście w książce, nad którą pracuję od kilku lat.
Często otrzymuję pytania w różnych aspektach szkoleniowych. Internauci proszą o bliższe wyjaśnienie, gdyż jest trudno im uwierzyć w to, co opisuję.
Moje wspomnienia zacznę od Młodzieżowej Akademii Polskiego Związku Szachowego. Od samego początku jej działalności wywoływała wielkie emocje i krytykę.
W czasie mojego pobytu w Warszawie w 1999 roku odwiedziłem biuro PZSzach, gdzie spotkałem się z prezesem Jackiem Żemantowskim i kierownikiem wyszkolenia Zbigniewem Czajką. W trakcie dyskusji poruszyłem m.in. problem Akademii. Ostatecznie wspólnie uzgodniliśmy, że zostanę zaproszony na kolejną sesją w Zakopanem i wtedy na żywo zapoznam się z jej funkcjonowaniem…
