Saint Louis Rapid Tournament 12-14 sierpnia
Silnie obsadzony turniej, wygrał Nepo, mimo dwóch porażek. Trzej kolejni, Firouzja, Lagrave, Aronian, po jednej porażce.
Wyróżnimy ich i sprawdzimy czy mogli wygrać swoje partie. Znajdą się one jako zadania w naszym konkursie Szachowe Cuda.
Bez formy Caruana (9-ty) i Praggna, dziesiąty, aż z 5 porażkami.

W dniach 10-18 sierpnia odbył się tradycyjny festiwal w Dortmundzie.
W turnieju A Michał Fiedorek z 6 punktami z 9 partii zajął 26 miejsce.
Natomiast Klaudia Kulon została sklasyfikowana ostatecznie na 41 miejscu z 5.5 punktamii.
Uczestniczyło 193 zawodników.
